Training

The Sage Healing Institute is dedicated to educating mental health professionals in the practice of Mind-Body Intelligence. It is our conviction that the integration of Western psychotherapy principles and techniques with the principles of Buddhist psychology and mindful movement, offers healing to the whole person; Mind, Body and Spirit.

We feel deeply that trained mental health professionals are best equipped to provide these services.

The Sage Core Training Program is designed to both educate the professional and to help each clinician integrate MBI into their clinical practice and their personal lives. The program consists of two eight-week courses. The American Psychological Association,has approved The Sage Healing Institute to provide continuing education for Psychologists. The PA Board of Social Work recognizes APA approved Continuing Education for Social Workers, Licensed Counselors and LMFTs . Please see the brochure that follows for specific educational objectives and fees.

Ongoing workshops and trainings will be available for graduates of core training, leading to group leader certification and teacher certification. Graduates are also eligible to become clinical members of the Sage Healing Institute.

Our goal is to provide the foundation for a community of like-minded practitioners who will support and stimulate each other on the journey to awakened heart.
