Dr. Ellen Adelman is a Licensed Psychologist who has been in clinical practice for over 30 years. She has been practicing and studying mindfulness meditation for the past twenty years. She is the founder of The Sage Healing Institute which is dedicated to the relief of both psychological and physical suffering through techniques informed by the integration of traditional psychological techniques and the principles of Buddhist Psychology. This treatment program and approach is called Mind-Body Intelligence ™.
Dr. Adelman is also the Director of PsyCare Solutions Inc., the parent organization of Sage, which provides a multi-disciplinary approach to a full range of psychological issues. As director of the practice she facilitates peer supervision and provides continuing education of clinicians, as well as providing direct patient care.
Dr. Adelman is a graduate of the Department of Counseling Psychology at Temple University, where she has taught a number of courses on the undergraduate and graduate levels of training. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, and The Pennsylvania Psychological Association where she is a member of the Annual Convention Committee.
Dr. Adelman teaches MBI® to licensed mental health professionals at PsyCare and the Sage Healing Institute in the Sage Core Training Certification Program.
The Sage Healing Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for Psychologists. Sage Healing Institute maintains responsibility for these programs.
She also teaches MBI® and MBI® MIndful Eating courses to patients and lay people at Sage.

He has given numerous workshops and presentations, including how Western and Eastern psychologies can inform each other. He has a long-standing interest in Buddhist psychology. My name is Tracey Ellenbogen LCSW. I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing since 1998. After graduating Temple University with a Masters in Social Work, I completed a 2 year post graduate training certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at The Psychoanalytic Institute. I spent 7 years working at The Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings. I have been in private practice since 1998 and most recently I have completed the Core Sage training in MBI® for healing practitioners. I specialize in mindfulness based psychotherapy. I am an interactive therapist with a warm and engaging approach. I offer support and techniques to help people learn to cope with their emotions in a way that reduces their suffering. Some of the techniques I offer are breathing and relaxation tools, meditation, and mindfulness approaches to help foster self acceptance. I have solid experience in treating depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, life transitional stress, relationship issues, and self esteem struggles. I also specialize in helping families, partners, and friends of those with an addicted loved one.

I have nearly 20 years experience in mental health, including clinical services and supervision and I am comfortable with a wide range of clients. I am attentive to issues of social justice in your life, including but not limited to race, class and gender concerns. I find it especially rewarding to support you in your artistic life, and with your spiritual concerns.
I completed my Master of Social Work at Howard University in 1994. I worked for 11 years in community mental health in Washington DC. I trained in couples and family therapy at Council for Relationships, and completed a certification there in 2011. I am currently teaching MBI® at the Sage Healing Institute in Elkins Park.
